Dr. Khoo completed his graduate and postdoctoral studies in Biochemistry at Imperial College, London, UK. After additional postdoctoral training at Colorado State University, he began his independent research career at the Institute of Biological Chemistry (IBC), Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He is currently a Distinguished Research Fellow at IBC, having previously served as its Deputy Director and Acting Director. His research interests focus on the development and application of advanced, mass spectrometry-based analytical techniques for high-sensitivity protein glycosylation analysis, with a special interest in sulfoglycomics.
