Dr. Cao leads a research group focused on advancing glycoproteomics technologies and their biomedical applications. Her group has developed innovative mass spectrometry methods for intact glycopeptide analysis, achieving high-throughput, precise identification and quantification of site-specific protein glycosylation. Their research work has been published in over 30 papers in journals including Nature Methods, Nature Communications, and Analytical Chemistry, with widespread adoption of their methodologies in glycoproteomics studies.
